Special academic qualification is not that much necessary for performing online data entry job. But there are some essentials to become a successful online earner. They are :
1. Ability to type correctly.
2. Ability to see correctly the typing mistakes and grammatical errors.

4. Good typing skill will be an important factor though not essential. People having good typing speed can complete the projects faster, whereas people with slow typing speed will have to spend more time to finish the projects. 5. Accuracy in typing is the most important factor in online data entry jobs. The job providers will expect your data entries to be 95% correct. Anything below 95% accuracy will not be accepted and your work will be rejected.
6. Project time: All data entry job projects are time bound. Once you accept a project, you will have to finish the project in a stipulated time. The time varies from project to project and depends on the volume and intricacies of the project. If you are unable to complete the projects in time, your work will be cancelled. So, though you will be working from the cozy comforts of your home, time factor will be most important.
7. For some data entry jobs, like medical transcriptions, you will have to take some training. Without training you will not be able to perform these special jobs.
